Latest Testing for the record has begun!

The current record is 945 miles

Our aim is to complete 1000 miles!

The current record

The greatest distance travelled karting on an outdoor circuit in 24 hours (individual) is 1521.80 km (945.60 miles) and was achieved by Marko Radisic (Serbia) in Orlando, Florida, USA, on 1 February 2020.

Marko broke his own record of 1418.77 km (881.588 miles), set in June 2019.

Our Attempt

Our attempt will utilise a faster kart than the kart used in the current record. By using a 2 speed Rotax powered kart our aim is to break the 1000 mile mark and set a record that will be difficult to break for a long time coming.

By selecting both a faster kart and a circuit with a high average speed, the ingredients are all in place to smash the current record. With an intensive testing and training schedule in place to minimise the mental and physical pain involved in driving a race prepared kart for 24 hours straight, we believe the stage is set to smash the 1000 mile mark.

We will just need some luck with the British summer weather!
